Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions constitute the terms applicable at any given time to agreements entered into with Casino Vesterport.
Security
Once you have entered your personal information, you will automatically be redirected to a secure server. Here, you will enter your card number, card expiry date and card verification code. All communication between you and the server is encrypted using SSL encryption. SSL encryption ensures that confidential information is not accessible to Casino Vesterport or any third party. The transmission between our server and the payment provider is carried out via an approved SSL solution, ensuring the highest possible level of security for the transaction. When you are in a secure area, this will normally be indicated in your browser by a padlock icon. SSL stands for Secure Socket Layer and is a security protocol that ensures data is encrypted during communication between the parties in an online transaction. This means that unauthorised persons cannot intercept information such as your card number during the transaction. The SSL function is built into your browser and is activated automatically when you make a payment with us. You therefore do not need to install any additional software. Regardless of the number of digits on the back of your payment card, the relevant verification digits are used to verify the card. The payment provider checks that the card number, expiry date and verification code correspond. If the information does not match, the payment may be declined. This helps reduce the risk of payment card misuse in connection with online transactions. Foreign cards are verified to the extent that the card issuer supports the use of verification codes. Casino Vesterport does not store your verification code or any other card details. Card information is processed by the payment provider used in connection with the payment.
Debit and Credit Cards
At Casino Vesterport, you can pay online using Dankort and commonly accepted credit cards. When you reach the payment page, you will be shown the service you have ordered as well as the total price. You must then enter the required card details. If the information is not entered correctly, the payment provider may be unable to verify the validity of the card, and the payment cannot be completed. The amount is charged to your card in connection with the order. An amount greater than the amount you approved during payment can never be charged. After the payment has been completed, you will receive an email confirming your purchase. When paying by payment card, you are protected in accordance with the applicable rules governing card payments and may dispute payments that you have not authorised. The information you submit in connection with payment by card is transmitted in encrypted form. Casino Vesterport does not have access to your full card details.
Delivery and Right of Withdrawal
When registering for a poker tournament, the buy-in and any applicable fee will be charged to your payment card in connection with the registration. The standard 14-day right of withdrawal that applies to many forms of distance selling does not necessarily apply in the same way to services linked to a specific date or event. As a player, you may cancel your registration until 04:00 on the day of the tournament. If you wish to cancel your registration, you must send written notice to info@casinovesterport.dk. After this deadline, the payment will generally not be refundable. Please note that tournaments will generally not be held with fewer than 10 participants. If a tournament is unexpectedly postponed, the cancellation deadline will be postponed accordingly. If a tournament is unexpectedly cancelled, the full amount paid will be refunded.
Non-Attendance
If you are unable to attend on the day of the tournament and can no longer make use of the standard cancellation option, please contact Casino Vesterport by telephone on +45 33 69 00 00. We will then assess on a case-by-case basis whether the amount can be refunded if it has already been charged to your account. If you fail to attend the tournament without notifying Casino Vesterport, the payment will generally not be refunded.
Complaints
If you wish to make a complaint regarding a tournament or a purchase, the complaint may be sent to Casino Vesterport, Hammerichsgade 3, 1611 Copenhagen V, Denmark. Email: info@casinovesterport.dk.
